🎉 Ecker Center is delighted to welcome our new board member, John Casey! 🌟 John was born in Chicago and has spent most of his life residing in the area. He previously served on a board with Uhlich Children’s Home in Chicago and spent years volunteering and advising Illinois Special Olympics and led over a dozen community improvement projects for Chicago Cares. He is passionate about giving back to the community and helping make the World a better place for all to live in. 🌎💖 John founded Shamrock Consultants in 1994. Shamrock is a leading management and leadership consulting practice that specializes primarily in the manufacturing industry. The goal of the firm is to change the World one person and one place at a time. Shamrock is based in Naperville but takes on assignments across North America. Prior to founding Shamrock, John was a firefighter, medic and inspector/investigator for the fire department in the South Suburbs. 🚒 John is excited to join the board with Ecker and is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that this will present. 🚀

Ecker Center for Behavioral Health is excited to collaborate with Solarium Dance Company and Steel Beam Theatre to present "Thumbs Up.," a tribute to Mac Miller focusing on mental health and substance use awareness. This event is an opportunity to engage with the community through innovative performances and discussions about critical mental health issues. Join us for the Community Enrichment Evening on July 19th and main performances on July 20th and 21st. Special thanks to the Kane County Health Department for providing Narcan for the event, emphasizing the importance of overdose prevention and life-saving resources.
