This Pride Month, I am honored to celebrate the inclusive spirit at Easterseals Affiliates nationwide, where acceptance is not just a goal but a daily reality. Denise Mannon, Chief Compliance Officer at Easterseals UCP North Carolina & Virginia, beautifully encapsulates this ethos: "At Easterseals PORT Health, acceptance is the norm, not the exception." Denise's words resonate deeply with our commitment to creating workplaces where every individual feels valued and respected. I am incredibly proud that our Affiliates foster environments where staff can bring their whole selves to work, and participants can thrive knowing their identities are seen and valued. Read Denise's reflections and learn more about Easterseals UCP: https://lnkd.in/eTy8tE8W Throughout June, Easterseals is highlighting blogs written by individuals who are part of the LGBTQ community and have a disability, emphasizing the importance of intersectionality in our advocacy for inclusion. These stories reflect our dedication to honoring diverse voices and experiences within our community. You can find these blogs at https://lnkd.in/eM9nHUjz Join us in celebrating inclusion and belonging this Pride Month and beyond. Together, we continue to advocate for a world where everyone can thrive without fear of discrimination. #PrideMonth #LGBTQ #InclusionMatters #DiversityAndInclusion #EquityAndAccess #DEIA

Once again, Easterseals PORT Health was a Silver Sponsor of the i2i Center for Integrative Health’s spring conference. Twice a year, i2i convenes healthcare leaders to solve the most important issues affecting behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and primary healthcare in North Carolina. It was another successful event! Big shout out to Amy Corder, Billing Account Supervisor with Orbit Billing Solutions, who won our Foot Massager raffle! We hope it helped soothe her tired feet after walking in and out of the great sessions that were held this week. #eastersealsporthealth #i2iconference #inclusion #disabilityadvocate #accessibility #disabilityservices @Luanne Welch
