Enchanted Evening: A Dunkin' Oncology Prom was an enchanted evening, indeed... On behalf of the Cleveland Clinic Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Program, we DONUT know how to thank Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation enough for sponsoring this memorable night! As an AYA program, we recognize the profound impact a cancer diagnosis has on an individuals ability to participate in social activities with their peers. We are honored to have been able to host an event specifically tailored to making memories! Thank you to Akron Children's Hospital and Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital for collaborating and co-hosting with us! It was an “Enchanted evening” filled with sparkly dresses, bow ties, corsages… and of course, music.✨ Around 100 teen patients from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, UH Rainbow Babies and Akron Children’s hospitals came together this weekend to dance the night away at the Enchanted Evening Dunkin Oncology Prom! An event made possible by a grant from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Patients and their dates enjoyed a magical evening filled with dancing, crafts and delicious food. Our facility dogs, Kid and Trotter, also attended the big event. They were not “officially” crowned prom king and queen… but they certainly have our vote!👑
