Exciting news from our team at the Henderson facility in Huntley, Illinois! They recently welcomed customers to their facility for live product demonstrations and a chance to explore several Henderson truck displays. A big thank you to everyone who joined the great team there. They also showcased their newly repaved parking lot, thanks to the help of the Henderson Mark E Asphalt dump body. Hopefully, you made it to the Huntley facility open house last week as it was a great event! There were facility tours, product demonstrations of our Brine Xtreme and Storm Xtreme products, customer truck displays, products and trucks on display from several of our great partners, a food truck, and even some raffles for great prizes. 🚀 Had a great time at the "AI Whisperer for Business" seminar hosted by Executive Agenda! 🚀 Led by expert presenter Severin Sorensen ★, the seminar showed how AI can transform business operations. As a member of Executive Agenda, I was fortunate to invite my coworker, Paul Stolzman, VP of IT at Douglas Dynamics, Inc.. as my guest. We learned about using AI to improve efficiency and discovered the potential of AI in areas like HR, Marketing and CI. The seminar also highlighted user-friendly AI models suitable for businesses of all sizes. One important lesson was learning to create effective prompts for AI, which I believe will be valuable for Douglas Dynamics' AI initiatives in the future. Overall, the seminar was a valuable resource for business leaders interested in AI. Our team at Fisher Engineering in Rockland, Maine, recently held a welding competition for technical college students in their local community. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their welding knowledge and learn new skills from our team members. During the last week of February, FISHER hosted the Annual Mentoring and Welding Competition with the MidCoast School of Technology (MCST). The students were given plow components to weld, using our gas mix, and were challenged to adjust their machines to complete the task in the same manner as our shop floor associates. They engaged in a friendly competition that encouraged the students to discover new techniques and problem-solve issues. A huge thank you to all the students who competed and the FISHER team members who dedicated time to support this amazing event! 💪
