Thomas S. of Ardmore, OK had just arrived home from his job at the Dollar General Ardmore Distribution Center when shortly thereafter his father alerted him to call 9-1-1 as the house was on fire. While the family made it out safely, the home was a total loss. Thomas applied for and received funds from the Employee Assistance Foundation to aid in rebuilding after the loss. When disasters devastate communities, DG and its employees are there to help, #ServingOthers and working to provide support for those who need it most. During Disaster Preparedness Month and year-round, in addition to its Employee Assistance Foundation, DG partners with organizations like American Red Cross and World Central Kitchen to help make a difference.
