Committed to supporting her team (at work and at home) and serving the community, get to know Christine Z. in our June DS CO Spotlight!
***
My name is Christine Zajonczkoski and I’m the director of first impressions at DS CO. I wear many hats when it comes to supporting the team members here, and I take pride in being able to help make someone’s days a little easier. I love being a part of such an amazing company that not only cares about the work its employees do but also about the people who are doing the work.
When I’m not at work, you can find me with my very active 6-year-old daughter, Addie, and my husband, Randy, who also works at DS CO as the director of IT. Whether we’re kayaking, camping, traveling or just hanging out in our little village of Le Roy, we’re always looking for our next great adventure!
Prior to working at DS CO, I worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years, so caring and helping others is embedded in my core.
I started volunteering at an early age as a candy striper at a local hospital in my hometown of Syracuse and continue to volunteer and serve my community. I am a certified end-of-life doula and have had the honor of caring and aiding in the transition to the ending stages of life, which can be a beautiful and peaceful moment. For the second year in a row, I have been proud to be on the committee for the Ability Partner Foundation’s Autism Awareness and Acceptance Walk, and most recently volunteered at the Girls on the Run spring 5k.
My hobbies are reading, making jewelry, painting, crafting, gardening and so many more things that I could fill a page with. I am always searching for a new project to keep my hands and mind busy!
