We are committed to demonstrating results by collaborating with existing networks, providing strong support and resource allocation at the local level, and using evidence-based programs and practices with proven effectiveness in improving student outcomes. Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. The mission of Distinctive Schools, an educational practice leader committed to social justice and the elevation of access and achievement in historically marginalized communities, is to support each child in becoming an engaged and curious learner, a confident self-advocate, and a creative problem-solver by setting high expectations and nurturing a positive culture that honors diversity, collaboration, and optimism. We will innovate, trailblaze and collaboratively lead a public education transformation that positively impacts the greater education community and ensures that each Distinctive Schools student thrives in college, career and life.
