Yesterday, our Anaheim store team members participated in the CHOC Walk CHOC Foundation to raise funds for children's health and well-being. This unique experience at Disneyland Resort unites the community in a meaningful and inspiring walk through the two theme parks. The CHOC Foundation provides exceptional medical care to children, advances pediatric health through innovative research, and offers comprehensive support programs for patients and their families. We're proud to support their mission and contribute to their incredible work. #WhyWeWalk #CHOCWalk #CommunitySupport #ChildrensHealth

About us
Din Tai Fung (DTF), a globally acclaimed culinary icon renowned for the art of Xiao Long Bao, is on a mission to create first-class dining experiences through its unwavering commitment to excellence in food, service and ambiance. Since its founding, DTF has become synonymous with quality and consistency and known for its warm hospitality and delicacies with authentic flavors. At last, our doors are officially open in the Big Apple! 🎉 Today, July 18, we proudly opened our first restaurant in New York. Taking up the entire lower level of Paramount Plaza, our new location is designed to evoke the feeling of descending into a traditional Chinese garden. This is one of the largest restaurants in New York City, seating 450 in the heart of the Theater District! A special thanks to our incredible team and partners, Rockwell Group and Paramount Group, for making this exciting day possible. We were honored to have CEO of DTF Global, Warren Yang, present for this milestone event. In a city renowned for culinary excellence, we are excited to join the community and look forward to sharing the art of Xiao Long Bao—our meticulously crafted soup dumplings—with our guests.

The long-awaited opening of the world's largest Din Tai Fung is happening on 7/18! 🎉 Thank you New York Magazine & Martin Gelin for sharing our story. Our EVP Aaron Yang and Albert Yang, grandsons of the original founder Bing-Yi Yang, give us an inside look on bringing DTF's East Coast debut to life. This milestone is a testament to DTF's unwavering commitment to excellence. It's all in the details. It’s our last month in New York, so I guess it’s fitting that I wrote my first ever article for New York Magazine. It’s about one of my favorite restaurants in the world, Din Tai Fung, which is finally opening here in a few weeks. We have eaten at Din Tai Fung restaurants in Taipei, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles and Seattle, so it feels somehow perfect that we’ll now get to have one of our last meals in New York in their new space. The article link is in comments, also in the next print issue. I’ve been a subscriber for 23 years, and this will be the last issue that we’ll receive to our home in Brooklyn, and the first with my byline in it.

Thank you Los Angeles Times for spotlighting the anticipation around our newest restaurant at the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim. Our first standalone restaurant, designed in partnership with Rockwell Group, features a traditional Chinese pavilion rooftop and a dumpling expo kitchen, giving diners a front-row seat to the art of dumpling-making. Din Tai Fung EVP Aaron Yang expressed excitement about bringing Asian-focused dining to the area, marking a significant chapter for the restaurant. To celebrate the opening, we will release our first-ever apparel collection and donate $50,000 to the CHOC Foundation to support youth health and wellness. We are honored to be part of the evolving culinary landscape at Disneyland Resort and look forward to serving guests from around the world beginning July 1! What a great week it’s been! We are so grateful for the outpouring of support in Seattle as we reopened in a new location in Bellevue. Seattle Met painted the perfect picture of our new experience: “The new Din Tai Fung is twice the size of the original and ratchets up the design factor by about a million… Its evolution involves a high-drama design: a suspended tree installation over the dining room, red-walled private dining rooms with washi paper chandeliers, and a general sense of drama that suits a prominent restaurant space in downtown Bellevue. One design element remains constant—Din Tai Fung’s “immersive dumpling expo kitchen,” a.k.a the open room where you can watch well-trained chefs shape its signature xiao long bao soup dumplings with their nimble fingers.” https://lnkd.in/gRvwDdna

Seattle, we have something new just for you! We are thrilled to announce the reopening of our Bellevue location, now on the first floor of Lincoln Square! The newly designed restaurant from the innovative Rockwell Group is a love letter to our cultural origins and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy the same award-winning Din Tai Fung flavors you love in a serene, art-filled backdrop, including a breathtaking suspended tree installation. To celebrate, we are pleased to announce we have donated $25,000 to Seattle Asian Art Museum to help support the arts in the region. We look forward to warmly welcoming you to our new and improved Bellevue home!
