DG Matrix is thrilled to officially announce our strategic partnership with FlexGen to accelerate EV fleet charging deployments. The partnership will utilize FlexGen’s industry-leading energy management software platform HybridOS combined with the DG Matrix Power Router to deploy distributed-energy-integrated EV charging solutions. “With major logistics companies rapidly transitioning to electric vehicles, this collaboration aims to accelerate EV charger deployment, improve station performance, and reduce downtime while enhancing grid resiliency. Kevin is recognized as a subject matter expert by industry standards organizations and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for mission critical power, microgrids (including DC microgrids), and REDOX flow energy storage. Kevin has significant experience as a consultant to investors, the United States Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Kevin has held Executive leadership positions as CTO, CEO, President and currently as CSO. Q: Why did you join the DG Matrix Board of Advisors? A: From the very early conversations, it was obvious that DG Matrix identified a cornerstone of three unique, high growth, high value markets for energy-dense datacenters, EV charging, and microgrids. The fact that the same core technology applies to these diverse markets is extraordinary. The product roadmap combined with the talent of the team made it an easy decision to join. Q: Can you share an experience from your career that has been especially relevant in advising DG Matrix? A: I have spent much of my career with mission-critical applications in datacenters and microgrids. Microgrids and datacenter markets are both areas that I am heavily engaged in from emerging technology and industry standards. In addition, the opportunity for EV charging is directly dependent on microgrids. Q: Why do you believe that DG Matrix will succeed?
