Yesterday, our State of the City event, presented by United Airlines, was held in a format that's never been done before. Featuring more than 50 elected officials and community leaders from throughout the region, these officials lead intimate conversations with different businesses covering economic competitiveness, housing and sustainability issues. This helped foster meaningful relationships and discussions, and gave the region's leaders insight into the different perspectives of the business community. Thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of this incredible event! A big shoutout to our emcee, Tasha L. Jones of LV Jones Consulting. We had an excellent turnout at our 1445Connect Block Party yesterday and it was wonderful to see so many new faces and familiar friends. The delicious tacos from True Love Tacos food truck were a hit and the atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter and meaningful connections. A special thank you to Patricia Calhoun, the esteemed Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder of Denver Westword, for joining us and sharing her invaluable insights on the development of Market St. and LoDo. What a success the Denver Metro Chamber 2024 Golf Classic was! ⛳ Despite experiencing Colorado’s colorful weather on the green, we didn’t let a little rain ruin our fun.
