We are delighted (and a little sad) to announce the retirement of Project Superintendent Dan Henderson. Dan started at DCS in November 2010 as a Foreman Blademan, and his first project was Bulldozer Wash at Verrado. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in MANY of our projects, including Rivulon, Verrado, Encanterra, Waddell Road, Prasada Road, Eastmark, Riggs Road, Higley & Baseline Intersection, Old Price Road, Greenway Road, and Dobson Road (Intel Driveways), just to name a few! His dedication and quality workmanship have been instrumental to our success. Dan's willingness to go the extra mile to meet project goals and deadlines demonstrated his dedication to excellence. Beyond his exceptional skills, Dan has been a cherished friend to many, offering encouragement and mentorship. Thank you, Dan! You will be missed! #happytrails #retirement #bootsontheground #DCSContracting #blade #projectsuperintendent

Effective fire hydrant installation requires meticulous pre-planning and execution. As part of #constructionappreciationweek, DCS would like to acknowledge one of our underground utility self-perform crews installing 19 new fire hydrants as part of the roadway improvements CMAR project along Cactus Road for the City of Surprise. The role of DCS foreman Pedro and his new crew includes excavation of the proposed site, careful position of the hydrant assembly, and connection to the water supply. A strong attention to detail is required during this phase to ensure proper alignment and secure connections. Thorough testing and inspection follow to verify its functionality and integrity, confirming the hydrant’s lifesaving role. Great job to Pedro and his team! #DCS #teamwork #integrity #safety #selfperformcrews #undergoundutility

Pouring concrete in the Arizona heat takes a lot of effort and planning to make sure it lasts. As part of #ConstructionAppreciationWeek, DCS wants to give a shoutout to our hardworking concrete self-perform crews, especially during the hot summer months. For instance, DCS concrete foreman Hector and his crew are doing a great job laying sidewalk and curb in the busy area of City of Surprise on Sarival Ave just south of Cactus Road. Keep up the good work team! #DCSContracting #DCS #teamwork #integrity #safety #selfperformcrews #concrete

Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate? All of the hard working and dedicated men and women at DCS Contracting! Construction is a difficult, and often messy, kind of work. From digging trenches to grading sites, from forming concrete to assisting foremen, our crew members wear many (construction) hats as part of their daily role and responsibilities. As part of Construction Appreciation Week (Sept 16-20), DCS would like to recognize and thank our outstanding self-perform crews for their commitment and quality craftmanship on all of our projects throughout the Valley. Keep up the great work! #constructionappreciationweek #DCS #teamwork #integrity #safety #selfperformcrews #concrete #grading #paving #undergroundutility
