As a strong believer in sustainable development and environmental conservation, Marjorie is a member of the High Level Steering Committee of United Nations Global Compact Action Platform on “Sustainable Infrastructure for the Belt and Road Initiative to accelerate the SDGs” and the Advisory Council of China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED). Marjorie is dedicated to promoting education and innovative technologies. She is the Co-Chairman of the advisory board of MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and the Chairperson of the Steering Committee of CoolThink@JC, which is created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. She also serves as a member of various advisory boards including Harvard University, Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, 清华大学经济管理学院 Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, The University of Hong Kong Innovation Academy of the Faculty of Engineering, and Guilin Tourism University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
