The de minimis loophole has hurt the textile industry in the US, but more importantly the de minimis loophole is killing Americans. That’s an indisputable fact. If Congress closes it, the United States will cut off a major pipeline driving the drug epidemic in Georgia and the nation. Reach out to your representatives and let your voices be heard! #closetheloophole #deminimisloophole #madeinamerica #sustainablyyours https://lnkd.in/eFkbPwYZ

Last week, Caitlin Thomas, our Quality Manager, and Linda Freeman, our Director of Human Performance Systems, had the privilege of representing our team at the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance Annual Meeting. It was an enriching experience filled with insightful discussions, including SCMA Leadership Panels and a Legislative Roundtable featuring esteemed elected officials. We gained valuable insights into the 2024 Election Landscape and were truly inspired by an exceptional keynote presentation from University of South Carolina Women's Basketball Coach, Dawn Staley.

In honor of Earth Day, we want to share some thoughts from our Chief Sustainability Officer, George Bandy Jr. Today is a great day to start making a positive impact on the environment! #darlingfibers #darlingtongreen #sustainablyyours #earthday2024
Global leader in sustainability, ESG, and circular economy. Passionate visionary and speaker, strategically committed to making a positive impact on the world one opportunity at a time.
🌍🌱🌿 Happy Earth Day 2024! This year's theme is "Planet vs. Plastic," aiming to raise awareness of the negative effects of plastic pollution on human and environmental health. Let's remember the importance of environmental conservation and celebrate this day by using wildflowers and native plants, reducing, reusing, and recycling, conserving water, getting kids involved, and taking a walk through nature. Did you know the first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970, when 20 million people attended events at schools, universities, and other public areas? Let's continue to make a positive impact on our planet! #EarthDay2024 #PlanetvsPlastic #EnvironmentalConservation #DarlingFibers
