High-performance computing data centers are powerhouses of computation, generating substantial heat as they process vast amounts of data. The interest in and demand for liquid cooling technology and innovation has never been greater. ❄️ Liquid cooling utilizes a coolant to absorb and dissipate heat from data center components. Unlike air, liquids can carry away more heat more efficiently due to their higher heat capacity. MORE BIG NEWS: CyrusOne today announced it secured a $687.1 million Single Asset Single Borrower (SASB) Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security (CMBS) loan for our DFW1 data center which currently serves more than 100 customers. This marks our very first CMBS issuance and is the first co-location/enterprise data center SASB securitized financing since the financial crisis of 2008. This milestone transaction boosts our total capital raised this year to nearly $12 billion, setting the stage for exciting future investments and development opportunities.
