Save Childhood Dreams. CURE Childhood Cancer.
About us
CURE is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families. CURE got its start in 1975 when Dr. Abdel Ragab gathered together a group of parents of childhood cancer patients to raise money to further pediatric oncology research and establish a support network for families facing childhood cancer. Since that time, CURE has made significant contributions in the advance toward curing childhood cancer and has also provided critical support to thousands of families and children battling childhood cancer. As an organization, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and efficiency. As such, CURE Childhood Cancer has been given Charity Navigator's coveted 4-star rating for 13 consecutive years. Only 1% of charities have received at least 13 consecutive 4-star evaluations. CURE fills a vital role in our local community, but CURE’s reach goes far beyond, advancing research that has the potential for widespread application in the quest to cure childhood cancer. As a result of funding by CURE, new therapies and drugs continue to be tested, and collaborations formed which continue to make headway in the battle against childhood cancer and ultimately finding a cure.

Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we appreciate our friends at HRA for hosting their 8th annual Charity Golf Tournament at Mirror Lake Golf Course in Villa Rica. Thank you to HRA’s leadership, staff, sponsors, and all of the golfers for their continued support of CURE’s mission.
A little rain didn't stop us from raising $61,400 for CURE Childhood Cancer at our 8th annual charity golf tournament! Thank you to CURE, our amazing vendor partners, and members who came out despite the storms. @curechildcancer

Lawrence Alexander Homes hosted the groundbreaking of the Pinebrooke Build for CURE home on Wednesday. When completed, proceeds from the sale of the home will fund lifesaving research that will lead to better outcomes for children with cancer. Many suppliers and tradesmen who have generously donated supplies and labor attended. Two special guests, leukemia fighter Myles and his brother Bryce, took a turn with the shovel at the ceremony. Visit buildforcure.org to learn more about this exciting new initiative.

Each year, as part of their #DSTGivesBack program, Duval Semi Trailers, Inc. selects nonprofits doing good work in the community. This amazing organization has been a generous partner of CURE since 2019. They even brought their award-winning BBQ to Lauren’s Run & Picnic to share with the kids and families this year! We truly appreciate everyone at Duval and their devotion to children with cancer.
