Bankers advocated for their communities and discussed the top issues affecting each area of the state. Yesterday at the MTRA Annual Conference and Training, MTRA President Ingrid White discussed the regulatory landscape for money transmission with CSBS Chair Charlie Clark and CSBS President and CEO Brandon Milhorn. Together they: ✔Acknowledged the importance of the money transmission model law in raising the bar for safety and soundness and consumer protection. ✔️Explained how technology and training can help examiners respond to innovative new products and business models. ✔️Underscored how state leadership and coordination in licensing, supervision, and enforcement can promote a dynamic money transmission market in the United States.
