🌟 What a fantastic time with CrowdSolve at Denver Startup Week! 🌟 Here’s a quick recap of our experience: - The startup spirit is alive and well in Denver, defying reports of the sector's decline from Pitchbook and others. - Over 12,000 attendees gathered to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship. - CrowdSolve hosted and participated in multiple panels and workshops, including inspiring discussions on "Inspiring Women in Climate Startups" and "Bootstrapping Your Startup." - Attended much of the Climate Day track, expertly organized by Laura Hickernell of CCIA and sponsored by Halliburton, among others. - We were reminded of the importance of building community and creating opportunities for more women and non-binary individuals to thrive in the climate sector. - Reconnected with many climate startup friends and family who have invested, mentored, and launched climate companies alongside CrowdSolve. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event a success! Let’s continue to support each other as we innovate for a sustainable future.🌿🌎 #DenverStartupWeek #CrowdSolve #ClimateTech #Community #Innovation #DSW #Denver #ClimateAction #ClimateInnovation

Scientist, Theologian, Mystic | Founder of Center for Earth Theology | IPCC lead author | Keynote Speaker on climate, science and love

In May, I quit my job. The one I dreamed of having when I was in 9th grade. I value greatly my 15 years as a professor, the 30 in academia. I trusted I could arrive into a new dream gig that better fits me and this moment in culture and planetary change of the 21st Century. Where did I land? Startup Colorado where I met Tim Wolters which led to time at Denver Startup Week and new connections with these amazing women Charlotte De Ridder Laura Klein Rachael Shayne as we engaged with a great audience who are also exploring climate entrepreneurship and social enterprise. I stated that if most folks do worse as the climate warms then climate entrepreneurship is a theological, justice and relationship endeavor, which I speak of as Earth Theology. Then, I found myself at a revival on Wednesday night led by extraordinary women building community, capacity, connection for Women Who Startup! I drove home amid aspen forests more yellow than when I left inspired to stay connected with you all and put what I learned to action in my new business the Center for Earth Theology.

Dang CrowdSolve! What a special panel to have been a part of! Yesterday, I spoke on the "Vision to Impact: Inspiring Women Founders Driving Climate Solutions" panel during Denver Startup Week. I was honored to sit next to Rachael Shayne and Heidi Steltzer, PhD - two innovative, creative, and mindful leaders. We spoke about the pitfalls and opportunity of capitalism in sustainability, the persistent challenge of being taken seriously as a female founder, and the importance of having a bias to action when starting a company. Thank you Tim Wolters and Charlotte De Ridder at CrowdSolve for hosting such a wonderful event.

Incredible experience speaking at Denver Startup Week on the "Vision to Impact: Inspiring Women Founders Driving Climate Solutions" panel. Thank you, CrowdSolve, for the opportunity to reconnect with the climate community. Being in a room full of passionate people never fails to fill me back up and crank up my creativity. Hearing from others who are building climate solutions was genuinely inspiring. From discussing our personal "climate why" to exploring the challenges we've faced as women entrepreneurs in a messy technology space, the conversation was insightful and a reminder of the power of authenticity and how saying no to opportunities that don't align with our values can give you new growth opportunities. Heidi Steltzer, PhD, brought a unique perspective on transitioning from academia to entrepreneurship and the lessons she's learned along the way from polar bears to theology school. Laura Klein's approach to building a values-aligned, financially independent startup was both practical and deeply inspiring. Charlotte De Ridder, our masterful panel host. Thank you for taking the time to ask deep questions and seek vulnerable answers. You're amazing. Each of you brought your authentic selves to the table, and I'm honored to have shared the stage with you. To all the aspiring entrepreneurs in the audience: trust your journey, embrace your authenticity, and don't be afraid to say no when it matters most. Let's keep pushing the boundaries—we need all of the solutions. The status quo is our only competitor. #DenverStartupWeek #ClimateSolutions #WomenEntrepreneurs #Authenticity #Leadership #B2BMarketing #climatetech #branding

I'm in Denver for Denver Startup Week. Loved starting out with a Women Founders event hosted by W Create Co. Where I did some 'homework' and met Charlotte De Ridder, who is the moderator for our panel today. Do women founders in Denver want to talk climate? The answer is yes! Join us to support women founding climate-centered businesses in agriculture, tech and social enterprise. Thanks Tim Wolters for coordinating for this event. 1660 Wynkoop St #800 is where we will all be at 2pm today.
