We broke ground on another amazing project yesterday! The Riverside University Health System Wellness Village will expand access to healthcare by offering both primary and behavioral health services to children and adults in the Mead Valley and surrounding cities. In addition to general health and wellness services, the 18-acre campus will provide Crisis Residential Treatment and Substance Use Disorder services in outpatient and residential settings. Situated against a sprawling mountain backdrop and with a plethora of outdoor gardens and amenities, this campus will become a treasured community resource upon completion. Thank you to Boulder Associates, Pacific Medical Buildings and Snyder Langston for allowing us to partner on this wonderful project.

Every year, we take time to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Our annual Memorial Day remembrance ceremony looks a little different every year, but always includes time to focus on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who lost their lives serving in the United States Armed Forces. Those of us who dare be so adventurous also participate in the Murph Challenge, which consists of: -1-mile run -100 pull-ups -200 push-ups -300 squats -And another 1-mile run to round things out Some of us even wear weighted vests to make things even more exciting (ahem, Charles Cornaire and Sysouk Vongphasouk)! And finally, members of our team donate to various veteran charities to which Criterion matches each donation dollar for dollar. Today, we remember, honor and mourn the soldiers who have fallen while fighting for our freedom. Thank you for your sacrifice.

We were delighted to be able to attend the groundbreaking ceremony last week for our Enloe Comprehensive Cancer Center project! The 107,000 SF consolidation of ambulatory cancer services across Chico is set to open in 2025 and will provide outpatient cancer care for thousands of patients annually.

We are thrilled to be supporting UCSF Health, HDR and Herzog & de Meuron in this exciting and inspiring new tower. This is truly an exceptional project that will positively impact the San Francisco community and beyond.

To kick off every year, the Criterion team comes together to reflect on the prior year and embrace the new. As many of you know, serving others is a core value at Criterion, and we are proud to incorporate serving our global community into our yearly gathering. In partnership with Kids Around the World, our team was able to help combat food insecurity by packing enough meals to feed 139 children for an entire year in just two short hours! Of course, no activity at Criterion is spared from a little competition, so this year it was a battle among Teams Valhalla, Cowpie, Sail Away, Rollin’ with my Gnomies and Hell’s Kitchen to see who could make the greatest impact with their packing skills. While there are no losers in this game, Team Sail Away did walk away with bragging rights this round ⛵👏 . We appreciate the patience of our clients and partners during the days that we dedicate to this event every year; it isn’t easy stepping away from our computers any amount of time, but what we are able to get and give from our time together is absolutely invaluable.
