I loved this group! They were fun, dedicated, intelligent … and of course … silly! By my late 20’s I had played intercollegiate sports, earned a bachelor’s degree, decided against a professional golf career, taught and coached at several schools, worked Athletes-in-Action and USA volleyball camps, started a master’s degree, and ... most importantly ... made many life-long friendships. These were the days of small beginnings. I could look back and minimize the importance of these experiences … that would mean that I’m minimizing the most important aspect … the people. While things weren’t easy … they were special. I remember looking at my bank balance at the beginning of a month and was so stoked that I had $40! That would freak me out now 🤪 There were times when I felt lost … out of place … unsure of what to do next … feeling alone in my decision-making. BUT GOD He is so faithful. He placed me in those positions and trusted me to live out my calling as I knew it at that time. I’ve always known that I’m called to teach (and coach 😎 ). As an 8-year old, I remember teaching my 2- and 3-year old neighbors how to write their names. It just got better and bigger from there. So now … after my 40 years in education … I’ve transferred those skills, beliefs, and talents to Kingdom business coaching … to empowering Christian life coaches like you with what I’ve learned about God, His call and anointing, and how to build a business on His foundation and for His glory!
