What a great #EconEdMonth! -Across the nation, CEE and its affiliates offered special events for economics teachers, students, and econ fans -Two more states received Econ Ed Month proclamations from their governors -Students interviewed leading economists like Jeffrey Lacker, Former President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and Jan Hatzius, Chief Economist of Goldman Sachs, to explore the pressing issues they care about most -We launched an econ-lover merch store and were surprised that tie-dye was our bestseller! https://lnkd.in/eXfvh27v Thank you to all who participated. Just because October is over, doesn’t mean the learning should end. Students: look out for details on the National Economics Challenge in the coming months. Teachers: continue learning with CEE all year on EconEdLink.org

Council for Economic Education reposted this
A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our Strengthening Economics in the Social Studies event for Econ Ed Month! We were honored to have State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond present CCEE with the California Assembly Proclamation, and Christopher J. Perez from Congressman Robert Garcia’s office present a Certificate of Recognition. Your support and participation are driving the importance of economic education forward. Together, we’re empowering students and building a brighter future! It was a pleasure to have a few of our board members in attendance at last month's FinEd 50 event and to witness Tony Thurmond present CCEE with the California Assembly Proclamation in recognition of our efforts in economic education.
