𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 | 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝘼 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝: 𝘠𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘳 𝘋𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘔𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘔𝘺𝘵𝘩

𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙚𝙙 Ever had a great plan that started off well, but then got a little bumpy, and maybe even off course, or maybe you even 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝. For most people, this is where the journey ends. But whether you’re starting a business, healing a relationship, or learning a new skill, this is bound to happen. It’s part of the 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 curve. The key is to get back on the bike of life again, and experiment again. Make more mistakes. Get feedback and reiterate. Experiment. Make more mistakes. Rinse and repeat. 🔁

The plug to Family Office Partners🔌 If you’re raising capital or a UHNWI building a legacy, Family Office List is #TechThatConnects🎯

Are we conducting an orchestra or herding cats? (Or maybe both?) 😹 For all of us founders, fund managers, and leaders launching new ventures, we’ve been there. Whether it’s rolling out a new tech stack, refining a brand, launching an initiative, or juggling investor relations, it often feels like we’re trying to bring order to a beautiful yet chaotic symphony. 🎻🐈🐈⬛ Despite our best-laid plans, the unexpected is always around the corner. 𝘽𝙐𝙏…. that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it? The mix of precision and unpredictability is what keeps us on our toes. If it were easy, we’d see more people daring to walk our paths. The pieces don’t always fit perfectly, and some days it feels like the cats are winning… 𝘽𝙐𝙏 when everything finally clicks, the harmony is worth all the effort. 🎶👊🏼 Yesterday, I spoke with a fund manager gearing up for their 3rd fund launch. Everything was lined up, but life threw in a curveball: closing current funding rounds and rebranding as a woman-led firm after a key partner’s departure meant postponing the launch until next year. Yet, this pivot gave them extra time to plant seeds with new investors. Now, with exciting initiatives and a strong track record, they’re better positioned for success. It’s funny how, amid the seemingly chaotic journey, the universe often times things exactly as intended. So when it feels like we’re conducting a symphony while herding cats, just know 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚! 💛 But here’s the real question: Who’s got strategies to find rhythm amidst the madness? #FamilyOffices #FamilyOfficeList #TechThatConnects🎯 #RaiseCapital #FamilyOfficeInvestors

I get TOP-TIER Press NOW for startups & scale ups. #1 PR Firm outperforming giant competitors, over-delivering every quarter.

“My inbox is overloaded and I will be responding to only the most critical emails” We’re seeing it across the board right now. In a time when there are fewer journalists and more breaking news stories than ever before, every element of your pitch process matters. Just like baking an intricate cake, your ingredients, order of operations, timing, and overall process are critical to securing press. Customized outreach, unique and timely angles, brief emails, non-transactional pitches, and strong relevance to the reporter and their audience all make the best approach for increased coverage.

As we work to develop cutting-edge technologies, patients are always at the top of our minds. In this insightful Innovate and Elevate podcast episode, host Sharon Kedar, CFA of Northpond Ventures sits down with two incredible young women who have learned to use their voices to advocate for themselves during difficult health journeys. Their stories highlight the importance of accurate diagnostics, but also the value of standing up for yourself when you know something is not right. Full episode: https://lnkd.in/etQ6TTKc

Many of you have asked about how our nine-year-old daughter Audrey is doing. She’s still on her health journey. But thanks to the most amazing mentor, Alice Tapper, Audrey has started talking about what happened. Full episode will be available next week. But here is Audrey in her own words. Many of you know that she was hospitalized three times earlier this year when her headache was 9 out of 10. It remained 9 out of 10 for 2 1/2 months. She was given three different IVs and migraine cocktails at three different hospital visits. The third time she was also given a nerve block in the ER. That was after waiting six hours to be seen. Her pain remained the same. It turned out that she didn’t have a migraine. She had pseudotumor cerebri or IIH (Idiopathic intracranial hypertension). That required a lumbar puncture to remove excess spinal fluid which she finally received on March 15. Her headache resolved a week after the puncture. She is now dealing with stomach issues. I can only imagine that all of the trauma contributed. No kid should go through this. As parents we need to advocate. If your gut feels like even the smartest doctor is not correct, please speak up even if it ruffles feathers. (It’s better to have a healthy child. And apologize later if you need to… Not that you need to.) While everyone means well, “diagnostic momentum” and hospital egos are real. Diagnostic momentum is a concept where one doctor believes there’s a certain diagnosis and everybody gets on board. My opinion is that egos drive a lot of that. Can you imagine being a kid and being trapped at the hospital with the wrong diagnosis? My wish is for the system to be more open to input and to put egos aside. I am a fan of doctors, both my siblings are physicians, but I am also a big fan of self advocacy. I’m such a proud mom to have Audrey share her story. We will forever be grateful to a few people who got Audrey the care she needed including these amazing humans: Dr. Kathryn Rexrode, Dr. Kurt Newman, Rochelle Zeidman, Dr. Beth Wells, Dr. Brem Rachel, Dr. Jonathan Taylormoore, Dr. Joseph Scafidi, Dr. Wendye Robbins, Madeline Bell, and Dr. David Piccoli at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. #useyourvoice #pediatricIIH #advocacy
