    Join Our Team: Curriculum System Designer Location: Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek - Fort Story, Virginia Beach, VA Organization: Navy Expeditionary Warfighting Development Center (NEXWDC) Position Overview: As a Curriculum System Designer, you will manage and develop advanced expeditionary training courses for NEXWDC, applying instructional system design (ISD) principles and the PADDIE process. Key Responsibilities: - Innovate and Improve: Develop, revise, and enhance NEXWDC courses using PADDIE methodology. - ISD Expertise: Ensure ISD principles are applied throughout the curriculum development process. - Organize and Facilitate: Coordinate and instruct NEXWDC course offerings throughout the fiscal year. - Assess and Support: Provide high-level assessments during certification events and assist with exercise planning and execution. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum ten years of U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or Army experience in military training, instructional design, and educational evaluation. Former experience in Instructional Systems Design is essential. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other media software. Broad knowledge of Fleet Training Strategy and Navy Education and Training Command programs. Their expertise in Linux OS has been instrumental in transitioning to new platforms and ensuring SCAP compliance for MCLOG’s exercise network. They also train S6 Marines in networking fundamentals, Linux proficiency, and industry best practices. If you have a strong background in security cooperation planning and a passion for international affairs, this role is perfect for you! What You'll Do: - Provide comprehensive support to the MARFORPAC G5 Division, International Affairs Branch. - Plan and request funding for partner nation engagement and training events. - Track planning, execution, and close-out of security cooperation projects. - Serve as the HQ MARFORPAC counterpart to U.S. Title 10 SC and APRI program managers. - Ensure optimal resource allocation and project completion. - Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate resource planning and execution. - Monitor and mitigate risks associated with security cooperation projects. - Review and ensure compliance with financial management governance standards. What We're Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Completion of the Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification Program is a plus. Experience: Minimum 8 years of specialized experience in Security Cooperation and/or Information Management. Proficiency in the USMC Security Cooperation Enterprise is essential.
