Meet our July #employeespotlight, Elizabeth McEvoy! Elizabeth has been part of Corporate Resources since March 2021 as our Administrative Services Manager. She is the queen of multitasking as she is the “go to” for all things accounting, payroll, benefits, employee events/culture, and more! Learn more about Elizabeth below. How long have you been at Corporate Resources, and what made you choose CR? I've been with CR for about 3 and a half years. When I was going through the interview process, I genuinely enjoyed all of the people I met. A positive company culture was important to me on my job search and feeling comfortable in an interview process isn’t very common, so it felt like a good fit. What is your favorite part about what you do? I enjoy working with and supporting employees whether that be onboarding staff, benefits, payroll or planning team parties. When I get to onboard new staff, whether it be our internal staff or our temporary employees, it’s always exciting to meet new people when they are excited about a new position and learn about them and their background. What value do you feel you embody the most? (Honesty, Integrity, Accountability) I would like to hope that I embody all three! I believe that is what makes me successful in my type of position. Dealing with financials, payroll and employee benefits essentially demands that I embody all of these traits. If I had to choose just one, it would probably be accountability! When you aren't working, what do you like to do in your free time? I have two daughters, Amelia and Sophia who are 2 years old and they keep me VERY busy. While not at work I’m typically with a baby/toddler and we love going to parks, pools, the library and just spending time outside when we can.

How can being honest and authentic help you stand out in your interview? Candidates are encouraged to be honest and authentic when discussing weaknesses, avoiding clichés or insincere responses. Interviewers value genuine self-awareness and the ability to demonstrate growth and learning from past challenges.
