Founded in 1983 as a specialized urban planning firm working on various transportation projects in Los Angeles County, our presence has expanded statewide.     Cordoba provides the engineering, design drawings, and construction man-hour estimates for a client project to install a new polyethylene medium-pressure gas distribution line back-tie to increase capacity to the surrounding pipeline system. Our team members are pictured here on site at this new distribution line that will allow the utility to successfully maintain the supply of gas through existing areas in the event of an unplanned outage!

    Cordoba team members are out in the field to do the final robotic inspection run on a supply line. Our technical experts provided the engineering, design, and management for retrofitting an existing 20” natural gas high-pressure supply to accommodate this inspection that evaluates the integrity of the existing pipeline to ensure the safety and reliability of the pipeline asset.

    In a recent lunch and learn series, a handful of our team members led a discussion on their knowledge and expertise on hydrogen and gas. As hydrogen is considered a very promising energy source that could power sectors of the economy that electrification and renewables currently cannot, our technical experts shared how we are preparing our clients, our infrastructure, and our communities as the demand for, and advancement of hydrogen is expected to increase, and impact our industries meaningfully in coming decades.
