We make quick decisions because they are easier. The late great Daniel Kahneman preached that more so than any incentives or punishment, people are driven to do things because they are easy. It’s harder to make more thoughtful decisions... to pore through more information, to listen to others, to connect the dots to the past. So how do we make thoughtful decision-making easier? By building a human-machine system. Which is what we went ahead and did 😄👀 #danielkahneman #decisionmakingsystems #enterpriseai
Exciting new research alert! Researchers from the University of Utah, Florida State University, University of Colorado Boulder, and University of Houston found that quick decisions are more likely influenced by initial biases, resulting in faulty conclusions, while decisions that take time are more likely the result of better information. We’re thrilled to see research on decision-making and excited for more findings to come, including from projects funded by our own Alliance for Decision Education Research Grant!
