This Veteran's Day, we witnessed a landmark event at the Army Navy Country Club. Our CEO, Frank Sturek, a dedicated committee member, shared a special moment with his family and the esteemed community of veterans and heroes. A Library Transformed: We are thrilled to announce the completion of the Army Navy Country Club Medal of Honor Library! This project, spanning from December 2022 to November 2023, represents more than just a renovation. It's a tribute to the eight Medal of Honor recipients from the Army Navy Country Club, heroes who have shown extraordinary gallantry since 1924. Fundraising Success: In collaboration with Ryan Thompson, CEO of 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Co., we launched a unique initiative. A special batch of bourbon was crafted, and the sale of 200 ANCC-labeled bottles raised a remarkable $10,000 for this project. 🎖️ Honoring a Hero: The highlight of the event was the presence of Kyle White, one of the two living Medal of Honor recipients. His words as a guest speaker were inspiring, and his full membership to the club is a small gesture for his enormous sacrifice. A Family Affair: It was a proud moment for Frank as he was joined by his wife and son, US Army 2LT Frank Sturek, Jr..
