🌟 Faster housing, lasting impact 🌟 Introducing the CS Large Cities Housing Fund — a $135M social impact initiative that will fundamentally change how cities address homelessness and the affordable housing crisis. By relying on private capital, the model provides units in a fraction of the time and at a much lower cost. 📊🏡💭 What is by-name data, and why do we need it to end homelessness? Quality by-name data is a powerful tool on our community’s journey to functional zero. By-name data allows us to know everyone in our community experiencing homelessness in real time. Without this information, we cannot: ✅ Understand the scope of homelessness in our community ✅ Understand how people move in and out of our system on an ongoing basis ✅ Have accurate information to set goals to reduce homelessness ✅ Have accurate information to understand if we are making progress in ending homelessness Learn more here ➡️ https://bit.ly/4eNaCwE

🏡 💭 #HousingFirst is an approach that centers on the belief that everyone is ready for housing — right now. The theory is simple: People need basic necessities, like a safe place to live, before they can focus on other priorities like improving mental health, maintaining a budget, or searching for and maintaining employment. ☀️ Climate change poses a significant threat to vulnerable populations. When natural disasters strike, people with the fewest resources are most likely left without a place to live. The worsening climate crisis will disproportionately impact marginalized communities, communities of color, and people living in poverty — and will therefore result in increased homelessness. #HomelessnessIsSolvable Learn what we can do to prevent that from happening: bit.ly/3w8kzDa
