Last week CHI President and CEO Sara Schmitt presented CHAS data on health in rural Colorado at the Western Health Care Alliance Annual Summit in Grand Junction. Her presentation included this graphic showing that rural areas have the highest percentage of Coloradans (32%-37% in the darkest blue) who reported that cost was a barrier to getting the health care they needed.
