Our Products and Solutions team came together in Portland and assembled 700 care kits for Maine Needs, a special organization striving to help Mainers meet their basic needs. Across our campuses, employees packed tulip bulbs and wrote messages of encouragement for World Mental Health Day and Mental Illness Awareness Week in partnership with The Yellow Tulip Project, whose mission is to 'smash the stigma' surrounding mental illness and to build a community of people who realize that hope happens when youth and community leaders work together.

Let's recap last week's community efforts: - Teacher appreciation gifts given to teachers in Title 1 schools in Columbia, SC - Employees volunteered at Sweetser, a Maine behavioral health provider as a part of our AFDP/ADP/PDP Summit - Handwritten cards of hope and inspiration created to share with those who use the services of Southeast TN Agency - Finance colleagues hosted their all team cross campus meeting with Cromwell Center for Disability Awareness - Snack and hygiene kits packaged for students in the COR program at Carver High School in Atlanta, GA. The COR program vision is that every student in Atlanta, no matter their socioeconomic background, has the support and tools needed to overcome structural disadvantages and flourish at school and beyond. - Total Leave colleagues volunteered at The Park Danforth to support the Children's Museum
On Indigenous Peoples’ Day and throughout the year, we honor the cultures and contributions of Indigenous People in the United States. As part of our commitment to the community, we support the Portland Museum of Art and Portland Ovations. In 2024, funding supported the Museum's exhibition in contemporary and Indigenous art: Jeremy Frey: Woven and Portland Ovations' live performance: Wabanaki Stories, which spotlights five Wabanaki artists from several different nations and traditions.
