    Have you checked out CollegeVine's new student survey regarding the use of #AI? It's worth a read. It appears that as students have more experience and comfort using it, the more they want and expect to use it. One respondent was quoted as saying: "I think that universities should use AI to personalize college admission experiences and answer questions. As an introvert, I would feel more comfortable talking to AI and asking questions anonymously through AI. I would also feel like I’d receive a quicker response." My "introvertedness" may be in question, but I am with her. I have found my willingness to chat through a company's site to be much greater than when I anticipate a person on the other side. Wait times, sales tactics and salesy questions - ugh! It often seems more fake than the artificial conversation I have with the person. #highered #admissions #emchat #AIrecruitment

    We surveyed over 18,000 high school students to understand their views on AI in college admissions, making this the largest survey of its kind! This latest report explores our findings, identifying where universities are falling short and how AI can improve student engagement and personalized communication. Key findings: 🤖 AI Familiarity: 87.5% of students have used AI at least once in the past year, and 58.2% use it monthly. 📉 Engagement Gap: 46% of students haven’t interacted with an admissions officer in the last year. 👍 Positive Outlook: Students generally favor AI in the admissions process, especially for personalized college search experiences. While there’s a lot of excitement around AI, it’s important to avoid the pitfalls of rushing into the wrong types of AI adoption.
