Collaborative Fund portfolio company Dandelion Energy has scaled the technology, brought costs down, and is actively building public awareness about available incentives to sweeten the switch: low-interest financing, rebates, and tax credits from state and federal government. Exciting developments at Aira! The company celebrated the opening of Aira 1, its very first heat pump production site in Wroclaw, Poland. Just one year after launching, Aira is already starting to produce its own Aira Heat Pump systems. With a €300M investment in a site formerly owned by Volvo, Aira plans to produce 500,000 heat pumps annually and create 2,000 jobs over the next decade, supporting their mission to shift Europe away from gas, one home at a time. Today, Aira Group CEO Martin Lewerth and Chairman Harald Mix welcomed guests including Aira board members, investors, partners, employees, and Piotr Wojtyczka, President of the Management Board, Invest Park - Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, Katarzyna Szymczak-Pomianowska - Director of Sustainable Development Department, Municipality of Wroclaw, Anna Uggla, Chargé d'affaires, Embassy of Sweden in Poland. This milestone was achieved through Ralph Lauren's partnership with Collab portfolio company NFW. As detailed in Fast Company, producing high quality recycled cotton fibers that meet Ralph Lauren's standards is no easy feat. Now Ralph Lauren is doubling down on recycled cotton and using the Olympics to signal to other players in the industry that a circular economy is possible.

This historic Louisiana announcement is such a massive scale up of DAC and a testament to Heirloom’s ability to partner with federal, state, and local governments to build real projects that make a difference to communities and global climate.
