Senior Program Manager at Amazon | Executive MBA Candidate | Army Veteran | Global Product Strategy | Lean Six Sigma Certified with 10 years in Transportation, Program & Product Management

Took my daughter in for her first coding session at Code Ninjas. She’ll learn basic block coding and eventually move onto JavaScript where she’ll build her own video game. Walking out I asked her what she thought about it and she said “I LOVED IT! When can I go back?!” For reference, she’s 8 and the youngest they have that go there are 6. It’s amazing that kids are able to learn skills like this at such an early age, not to mention Microsoft has a great coding platform for kids to practice in. Looking forward to seeing what she builds now in the future 🚀💻 #girlswhocode #coding #javascript #blockcoding #kidswhocode

    Software Engineer I at Medtronic

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve started a new position as a Software Engineer I at Medtronic this Monday! After completing three internships here, I'm incredibly excited to be back and continue working under the guidance of my amazing manager, Vanessa Ortiz-Rivera, on the Samurai UI/UX team. Working at Medtronic has always been a deeply fulfilling experience, as the company's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life resonates with my personal and professional values. I am passionate about contributing to this mission and making a positive impact on patients' lives! Additionally, I graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison last May, earning degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Your encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in reaching this point. Here's to new beginnings and continued growth!

    Amazon Software Development Engineer I

I'm finally getting around to sharing some exciting updates: I graduated last December with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota Department of Computer Science & Engineering. This August, I'll be joining Amazon as a Software Development Engineer I (SDE I). During this time, I've been keeping busy with personal projects, practicing Leetcode, attending conferences, networking, mentoring a FIRST high school robotics team, working part-time, and of course, lots of travelling! I'm eagerly looking forward to relocating to Seattle and rejoining Amazon's Social Marketing org!
