Aaron Shapiro - we are so grateful to you and the team!
Today we had our first IMPACT Days event in New York as Forvis Mazars US. We were told some frightening stats regarding #homelessness in New York City and any small gesture that could be done towards people in this predicament can potentially change someone’s life or even just brighten their day. Today we packaged up over 600 hygiene kits which will be distributed by Coalition for the Homeless, Inc., a leading social service organization here in NYC. We hope this can make a strong impact on the community we live and work in. As a side benefit, I got to hang out with many of my new coworkers and got to see some of my old friends who reside on the “Other Floors” ☺️ Thank you to our NYC Assistant Managing Partner Carlos Martins for arranging this event and it was nice to meet you! Hit me up to learn more about Forvis Mazars US. We care about our employees, our clients, and our communities 💙 #ForvisMazarsIMPACT #FMfriends #FMfamily #FMNYC

Thank you for your generosity and compassion, Athina Koutsoumadi. 👐
Making an impact! We have partnered up with the Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. and during the last couple of days the Forvis Mazars US NY Office came together as one team to package 1,200 personal hygiene kits along with thoughtful notes of inspiration, encouragement and good wishes. Through our partnership, those kits will be offered to the homeless in New York. As you can see, I took my note writing and QC skills very seriously! Thank you to everyone involved in organizing such a great and meaningful event. #givingback #daysofservice #forvismazars #newyork #coalitionforthehomeless #contribution #doyourpart #makeadifference #forabettertomorrow #supportthoseinneed #giveback #dogood

Pride month is a time for celebration but also reflection. Reflecting on what many people in the LGBTQI community had to fight for to be seen as equal to their peers. For many members of the community, just being who they are has rendered them homeless. Learn some facts being LGBTQI and homeless and read our blog. https://lnkd.in/eYBrRA-B
