I am thrilled to publicly announce the launch of Investature, a sustainability finance and technology solutions company. Investature officially opened its doors this February, but I've been holding off announcing it until there were anchor clients and the beginnings of a formal team. The name "Investature" is a play on "invest in the future" and "invest in nature". We are taking bold steps toward immediate environmental impact and are poised to grow. Time to share more about the Speculative Policy Project! For the past few weeks, I've allowed myself to be immersed in creative writing. This is the first time I've done creative writing like this in... in... umm... yeah, wow. I officially submitted my nearly 5,000-word short story to the Grist Imagine 2200 contest — so it's time for the next iterations of this project, and that will involve sharing some of this work with all of you! (Though publishing my short story will need to wait until after I hear back from the competition.) 📣 📣 Tomorrow, Speculative Policy team member Stephanie Niu will be hosting a Roundtable Reading where we will share about this project, read excerpts from our writing (including the work from Melissa Sions), and have a Q&A about the work.
