Exciting news! We are launching a new financing program to help small fleet owners and independent operators go zero-emission. Climate United intends to invest up to $250M to procure up to 500 class 8 battery electric trucks, making it the largest single order of electric trucks in U.S. history. 🚛⚡ Our partnership with Forum Mobility will help small fleet owners navigate the transition to electric vehicles by removing financial barriers and providing accessible, reliable charging. This program will begin at the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles, but we intend to expand nationally. Our ultimate goal? To help small fleet owners purchase vehicles that are cleaner, safer and healthier for their communities. This initiative isn’t just about cleaner air and cutting emissions—it's about helping small businesses improve their bottom line, creating healthier communities, and building supply chains that make America more globally competitive. What a week! It started on the West Coast in LA briefly attending the OFN conference and engaging with industry peers over all the work we need to do with the GGRF money that we now have in hand. Thank you OFN for honoring our work naming CPC as CDFI of the Year! Humbled and proud! Back in New York, it was climate week all over again! It started with a keynote at the NY Geo conference speaking to my friends working hard to bring the benefits of geothermal to Multifamily projects statewide. Next I stopped by the ASHRAE conference and participated in a panel on financing opportunities for sustainable projects which was robust! Thank for including me Elizabeth Kelly!! I finished out my engagements with a kick off keynote at the New York NESEA conference with my Climate United partner and superhero Beth Bafford! We took a packed room through our GGRF strategy which highlighted actual deals that we have closed or are in our pipeline. So much work to do and so much fun to have doing it! See you all soon! Let’s get to work!!

We kicked off an incredible week of building partnerships at the Opportunity Finance Network Conference yesterday with a tour of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)'s La Kretz Innovation Campus! Leaders from the climate finance ecosystem came together to build relationships, identify opportunities for collaboration, and explore what critical partnerships are needed for fund deployment and community impact. We are sharing lessons learned so far, deepening our understanding of current challenges and opportunities, and exploring how to most effectively engage with local communities to explore what's possible with strong, mission-aligned collaboration. 🤝

Today, Scenic Hill Solar, The University of Arkansas System, and Climate United came together to celebrate our historic $31.8 million investment in Arkansas’s solar future. 🎉☀️ This investment will benefit the entire University of Arkansas system, delivering direct benefits to students and staff while creating millions of dollars of economic benefits for local communities. And to top it off, this will kick off the largest Commercial and Industrial solar project in Arkansas history. Not too bad for the first ever investment to come out of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s National Clean Investment Fund! We were joined by a panel of incredible speakers for this announcement, including - Beth Bafford, Our CEO - Donald Bobbitt, President of the University of Arkansas System - Pascal Caputo, U.S. Governmental Affairs Manager at First Solar - Bill Halter, CEO of Scenic Hill Solar We also had a highly engaged roundtable discussion with national manufacturers and local contractors, including OMCO Solar, Array Technologies, B&K Electric, UA students, and other stakeholders. It was a great moment of conversation and collaboration about how each organization present can work together for the benefit of Arkansas as a whole. A big thank you to everyone who made this historic project possible. We're so excited for what's ahead!
