🔥 🚒 HOT TAKE: Our Creative Directors hate banner ads. Alice Brady has nearly three decades of agency experience under her belt and believes in thinking outside of the box. See what she has to say about those pesky little banner ads below: OK maybe hate is a strong word, but seriously, there’s nothing worse at a kickoff meeting for a project you’re really excited about, and the list of deliverables is only banner ads in five sizes, with three different headlines, in multiple languages. Don’t forget A and B testing. As a designer, I die just a little bit inside because banner ads are fun-suckers. I believe people are way more savvy and engaged with brands than ever before. We have so many other measurable and effective ways to connect with them from social, texts, emails, and customized content. I believe creatives, agencies, and their clients need to push each other to think creatively when it comes to getting our messages out.

Elise Parks is an integral part of the Clean Team as our Strategy Lead. She's known for asking questions and today, Elise tells us why she's so curious about your brands. "Building a brand strategy is a lot like embarking on an adventure. When we start off a new project, I’m not always sure where we are going to end up. The more questions I ask, even dumb ones, the better I can craft a roadmap for a clear path to win. It’s my job to nerd out and ask questions about things that other people aren’t interested in, so I can make sure we are creating work that cuts through the mess." #strategy #design #adagency
