The Michigan Infrastructure Office expects to receive roughly $11 billion in federal funds by 2026 to invest in transportation infrastructure to help increase the state population and stimulate the economy. The Infrastructure Office states that investing in transit infrastructure can: ⚖ Improve equitable access to mobility 🏢 Enable access to jobs 💼 Get people back into the workforce 🎓 Retain young talent in the state 📈 Spur economic growth

Beginning next March, homeowners will have fewer restrictions when implementing energy-saving improvements, per House Bill 5028 which passed in early July. 🏠 Homeowner association provisions will be invalid and unenforceable if they prohibit or require approval of the replacement, maintenance, installation, or operation of energy-saving improvements or modifications, including EV supply equipment. 🔌 ⚡   https://lnkd.in/gVfHbEJY

Grant Alert! 📣 💰 Round 2 of the Michigan Clean Bus Energy Grant is open and applications are due October 12. 🚌 The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is offering $125M in grants to assist with the replacement of the state's oldest diesel school buses with new electric, propane, and compressed natural gas buses. https://lnkd.in/gyP2U8E9

Today, our Clean Fuels Michigan team did a little team building, discussed “what powers us,” and made one of the many Ann Arbor parks more beautiful. I love having teammates who believe in what they do, aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and have fun along the way (even when that involves riding a teeter-totter).
