Billy Briscoe has been named Chief Executive Officer of Clean Energy Fund of Texas, a Houston-based financial services nonprofit aiming to save money and energy for thousands of low and moderate-income Texans. The EPA awarded a $156 million grant to the Clean Energy Fund of Texas and the Bullard Center for a community solar and energy resiliency project in southern and southeastern states. This funding will help serve Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges and Universities, and surrounding communities. This partnership is expected to generate hundreds of millions of dollars in wealth creation for impacted communities and attract private capital investment!
