Check out the just released Clean Edge Tech Maturation Model. Ron Pernick just posted slides overviewing the model. You can also access the model here: https://lnkd.in/gBJq8UEK
In our fourth annual Clean Edge Tech Maturation Model, we draw on our team's decades of collective industry experience to analyze 48 green technologies spanning clean energy, transportation, water, and the grid. These technologies are ranked by both their technological development (pre-commercial to mass market availability) and cost competitiveness (low to high). Technologies at the top right of the chart (such as utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind, 100-300 mile-range passenger EVs, LED lighting, and smart meters) are considered fully mature technologies, while those at the bottom left are still in the lab and many years from commercial viability (such as fusion power, scalable modular nuclear reactors, and all-electric long-haul air travel). As always, we invite your feedback on this year's model. Check out a brief slide show of the model below (something new this year showing technologies by sector: energy, transportation, water, grid) and access the model (for reposting/reuse) online here: https://lnkd.in/gn5Gjw67
