Civitas’ 2024 Sustainability Report is now available! This year, we reaffirm our commitment to a sustainable future, highlighting our progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and our dedication to responsible energy production. Key Highlights: 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀: We achieved a 41% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity across our Rockies business unit from 2019 to 2023, beating a target of 25%. 𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: We’re committed to reducing Scope 1 GHG emissions by 40% by 2030 from our 2023 baseline across DJ and Permian operations. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Our sustainability program emphasizes innovation and operational excellence to manage key risks related to health, safety, and environmental impacts. Civitas maintains one of the industry’s premier shareholder return programs, distributing a strong base dividend and 50% of its free cash flow, after the base dividend, in the form of a variable return. “Civitas’ team and assets continue to perform very well, as demonstrated by our strong second-quarter results,” said CEO Chris Doyle. “We’ve driven production ahead of plan, lowered drilling and completion costs, and enhanced margins through reduced operating costs, evidencing that assets are better in Civitas’ hands.”

Recently, members of Team Civitas participated in the annual Bike MS event in Colorado! Over the course of two days, our inaugural team of 10 cyclists completed 150 miles round-trip between Fort Collins and Denver. We’re proud to share that our team raised over $9,000 for the National MS Society, supporting research development, treatment options, and families affected by MS. Go Team Civitas!

Civitas was proud to sponsor the 102nd Greeley Stampede - Colorado's premier summer western celebration. This year's event brought local organizations and community members together to support Northern CO students pursuing higher education. We had a fantastic week filled with concerts at the Civitas Park Stage, rodeos, and more!
