October is Pedestrian Safety Month. Civiltech takes a Complete Streets approach to all of our projects with a focus on equitable and accessible pedestrian facilities. One recent Complete Streets project is 111th Street from Cottage Grove Avenue to Ellis Avenue on which Civiltech provided Phase I Preliminary and Phase II Design Engineering for the Chicago Department of Transportation. The right of way and streetscape improvements were designed to facilitate pedestrian and bicycle movement around the Pullman National Monument.
