We hosted our second "Roundtable by Roundtable" with Abbilyn Miller last week, focused on youth homelessness prevention and response. By convening leaders from across 10 states (and 5 time zones!) together, we are bringing our values of informing, empowering and celebrating public servants to life. 💡 Last week's conversation starters included: * Fostering Youth Leadership * Balancing Innovation and Systemic Response * Building Inclusive Coalitions 🧠 As one participant shared: "I’m leaving this conversation feeling more connected, energized, and inspired than when I arrived. No one should need to travel hundreds of miles to learn new ideas or make new connections. I'm grateful to be a part of this community and excited for many more conversations to come!" 👇 Please comment below with any questions or ideas you'd like us to feature during our next session, or DM Austin B. if you'd like to participate!

Last week we were proud to host our inaugural "Roundtable by Roundtable" with practitioners from across 12 states, this time focused on homelessness prevention. Our goal with these sessions is to create a forum for tactical conversations to share ideas, celebrate wins, and talk openly with peers from across the country who "get it." 💡 Conversation starters included: * Coalition-building and community-building as an antidote to burnout * Equity in our systems, programs, organizations and actions * CoCs and ICHs as catalysts for change 🙌 A big thanks to the magical Abbilyn Miller for facilitating an incredibly thoughtful and dynamic conversation. We are looking forward to the next one, this time focused on youth homelessness. Please reach out if you'd like to participate in next month's session or if you'd like to see a peer conversation hosted on a different topic keeping you up at night. 🧠 As one participant shared: "I love the format of this meeting! Just a awesome group of open minded practitioners vibing around a major issue, driving to a common goal, with various regional perspectives. Not a one way dialogue. This has been my most productive engagement of the week!"

We are looking forward to presenting at next week's National Association of Regional Councils Annual Conference in Atlanta! This is the largest national event focused on promoting effective regional cooperation and solutions through interaction and education 🤝 Earlier this month, we launched to power real-time Q&A, resource sharing and peer networking across National Association of Regional Councils' Working Groups. Our collaboration platform will soon connect all leaders, team members, board members and elected officials from Councils of Government and Metropolitan Planning Organizations across the country 🛣 A special thank you to Erich Zimmermann and the entire NARC team for their hard work in bringing this convening to life. Please swing by our exhibitor table and say hello to Austin B. and Ashley Leopold - Murch -- your voice will shape how Civic Roundtable is unlocking institutional knowledge and unleashing the power of regional councils 🚀

We are excited to present at next week's Annual Training Institute (ATI), hosted by the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness! ATI brings together ~1,000 practitioners from the state's Homeless Response System for targeted workshops and discussions, ranging from managing burnout to leveraging innovative technology. Building on our momentum from last year, we are proud to use this forum to announce the creation of a dynamic statewide hub for practitioners to share ideas, ask questions, and find resource in real-time. A special thank you to Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness and The Housing Collective for making this possible. We are excited to continue to learn from the voices in the field, and to take a big step forward in making our vision for a one-stop-shop a reality!

Proud to support!
GovEx is thrilled that City AI Connect, our online community of innovative public sector leaders working to adopt AI in local government, has grown to more than 500 members from across the globe! Launched in collaboration with Bloomberg Philanthropies, City AI Connect is an online knowledge exchange platform where members from more than 30 countries share their experiences, successes, and challenges on the road to adopting generative AI tools in local governments. In just a few months we’ve seen exceptional growth in the community and its commitment to GenAI. The number of cities surveyed that have formal AI policies and dedicated leaders has nearly doubled since September and practical applications of GenAI are already taking hold in several cities to boost resident engagement and communication, improve service delivery, expedite internal operations, and manage data. If you're a city official eager to explore the potential of GenAI and learn from your peers around the world, join us at City AI Connect and become part of this dynamic and growing community! https://lnkd.in/gVMM-rEm #CityAIConnect #AI #Dataforgood #datadriven

2024 is a critical year for elections, and we've been busy on the road bringing election officials from across the country onto our platform. This month, we had the privilege of launching in South Carolina, Oregon, and Kansas. Through our secure, purpose-built collaboration platform, election officials are connected with the people and information they need to be successful. Thank you to Paige Salonich and Brian Keith Leach from South Carolina, Molly Woon and Nikki Fisher from Oregon, and Rick Piepho from Kansas for their work championing these communities and bringing our vision to life. Also, a heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated election officials for their warm reception and invaluable feedback. By building with you, we hope to continue to empower your important work — and we can’t wait to support more states in the months ahead!

We’re excited to launch Roundtable’s Email Forwarding feature! 📧✨ In conversations with dozens of government practitioners, we’ve heard again and again that email newsletters and reply-all threads are overwhelming. Practitioners are bombarded with emails, making it impossible to find important information when they need it. Roundtable Email Forwarding makes it easy to contribute to our knowledge sharing platform without skipping a beat. Sending an email to your personalized Roundtable address automatically creates a post in the platform, making that content immediately searchable alongside the other information important to your community 🔍. Unlike a normal email, in Roundtable can see who is viewing and reacting to your content, helping your communications be more responsive and personalized 📊. Users are now forwarding newsletters, meeting minutes, and announcements into Roundtable. At Roundtable we’re focused on helping government practitioners doing mission-critical work cut through the noise with easy-to-use tools that meet them where they are. We're excited to see our users transition away from email lists and lean on Roundtable as a more streamlined and interactive way of sharing information. Stay tuned for more product updates soon!
