🌆 Wrapping up an exceptional first day at the #PowerUpYourCity Summit in Oulu! Thanks to everyone for the enriching discussions, the joint workshops and the insights into the progress of #PositiveEnergyDistricts (PED). Today's highlights: ✨ Engaging talks showcased extensive work on Oulu's PED, featuring all stakeholders. Credits to the teams of Oulun kaupunki - City of Oulu, University of Oulu & Oulun Energia -konserni. ✨ A great panel discussion with our sister projects SPARCSeu and CityxChange provided valuable insights into the experiences from different PED implementations. Many thanks to Mari Hukkalainen, Kelly Riedesel, Klaus Kansala, Eva Pongracz & Kimmo Alatulkkila for joining us! ✨ The afternoon sessions explored new frameworks and tools for #capacitybuilding, #stakeholderengagement, and PED #businessmodel analysis. Smart City Expo World Congress set a great opportunity. During the European Commission Booth session, the discussion with NetZeroCitiesEU, ASCEND Project and BUILDSPACE Horizon Project highlighted the importance of collaboration within the EU community to achieve our common climate goals.  The cities of Dresden, lighthouse city, and Ghent, fellow city, for Dresden, participated in the session providing their insights into the project participation and cities’ ambition on climate action.    During the Agora session, NEUTRALPATH participated in the roundtable with AtelierH2020, CityxChange, ASCEND project, and EXCESS Project, to discuss  Positive Energy Districts as a component for designing climate neutrality. Thanks to the speakers and to everyone who joined us.

💪It's a wrap! Three successful and intense days at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona have come to an end. ATELIER had the pleasure to showcase its work together with around 30 other EU-funded projects dedicated to Smart and Climate Neutral Cities at a joint booth, organized by the Smart Cities Marketplace. ATELIER representatives discussed both in sessions at the booth as well as on stage the role of Positive Energy Districts in shaping the energy transition. We're honoured to have shared the stage with colleagues from the projects SPARCSeu, POCITYF, RESPONSE, NEUTRALPATH project, EXCESS Project, Scalable Cities, ASCEND Project and CityxChange. Preparing joint session and discussing amongst peers has been a great opportunity to strengthen our ties with experts from other projects.
