Lone Tree Youth Serve as Mayor and City Councilmember for a Day Lone Tree resident Judson was the City's mayor for a day a few weeks ago! Mayor Judson and Mayor Marissa Harmon toured around Lone Tree, learning about what it means to run a whole city. They were joined by councilmember for a day, August, and Councilmember Brown to learn what our Police Department does, the shows and programs the Arts Center puts on, and how to run a public meeting. Corporal Grant Collins and Community Response Team Clinician Sophia Lind were recognized at this year's Police Department Awards & Swearing-In Ceremony. Their teamwork and dedication to helping members of the community earned Corporal Collins the Police Service Award, and Sophia the Chief's Citation for Meritorious Conduct. The Community Response Teams (CRT) are unique co-responder partnerships that offer case management component to connect people to services following a crisis. They respond to mental health calls, and support people from all walks of life. Lone Tree's CRT is a part of the Douglas County CRT program. The work that the Lone Tree Police Department does every day makes a significant impact on our community.
