🎉 It's Conference Season, y'all! 🎉 The unofficial start of Fall began last week after Labor Day and with that calendar milestone come conferences, conferences, conferences! We couldn't be more excited since there are a quite a few that we will be participating in this September, October, and November. First up, Senior Principal Evan Corey Costagliola will be speaking at ITS Congresses #ITSDubai2024 next week during the session titled "Sustainable and Safe Urban Mobility for All. Reality or Illusion?" 📆 17 September 2024 🕚 11:00-12:30 GST (GMT 4) 🔗 To learn more and sign up, go to https://lnkd.in/fMMNz9J 📋 Details of the panel are below: "According to the European Commission, globally, urban areas consume over 65% of the world's energy, accounting for more than 70% of CO2 emissions. It is therefore crucial that cities act as experimentation and innovation ecosystems to help all others in their transition to become climate-neutral by 2050. New urban mobility solutions and space interventions will contribute to this transition and help the citizens not only live but thrive within their cities. Therefore, the acceptance of novel mobility solutions and space interventions by the citizens themselves is an element of strong interest for all stakeholders involved in the related sectors. During this session, the present situation of urban mobility will be discussed and several suggestions will be presented on how to introduce safe, sustainable, and inclusive urban mobility in our lives." Evan will be joined by mobility experts from across Europe as they dig into this topic further. ⭐ Guido Di Pasquale, managing director at Partners for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE) ⭐ Evangelia Portouli, senior researcher at I-SENSEGroup/ICCS. 🎤 The session will be moderated by I-SENSEGroup/ICCS technical director Giannis Karaseitanidis. #ELABORATORproject #sustainability #transportation #urbanmobility
