The City of Pasco is proud to announce a transformative partnership with the Pasco Public Facilities District (PFD) and Broadmoor Properties. This strategic collaboration will propel economic growth and infrastructure development in the Broadmoor Area through the innovative use of Tax Increment Financing (TIF). This project represents a major investment in Pasco's future, totaling an estimated $39 million in infrastructure enhancements. These developments are set to not only meet current demands but also anticipate future growth needs, supporting the forthcoming Aquatic Center and other private developments. By leveraging non-voted limited tax general obligation bonds, this initiative exemplifies a sustainable approach to urban development, demonstrating how public-public-private partnerships can be a powerful tool for community revitalization and economic sustainability.
