📢 Upcoming Project: Browns Valley Rd/First St Rehabilitation 📢 The City of Napa is excited to announce the Browns Valley Rd/First St Rehabilitation project! This project aims to repair the street's deteriorating pavement from Freeway Drive to McCormick Lane, update curb ramps, repair curb/gutter and sidewalk, install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) at uncontrolled crosswalks and update striping and signage. This project is funded by Measure T with an estimated cost of $4,800,000. The planning phase was completed in Spring 2020, the design phase is completed and construction is scheduled for Summer 2024/Spring 2025. Our Heavy Equipment Operators work in our Streets Division, which maintains and operates city streets and the public right-of-way. Our team of Heavy Equipment Operators are primarily focused on implementing upgrades to our local neighborhoods. We work closely to transform neighborhoods through asphalt street resurfacing; concrete sidewalk, ADA ramp, and curb/gutter upgrades; and installation of new street signs and roadway markings.
