  • DICKINSON PUBLIC LIBRARY AWARDED GRANTS 🏆 We are happy to share that the Dickinson Public Library recently received an endowment from BACODA to help fund several summer programs. Staff will be adding VR equipment, raised bed gardens, and supplies for monthly cooking classes that will begin this summer. The library has also been recommended for a $25,000 grant through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission that will fund four new computers for the Children’s Department along with Launchpad tablets. 🙌The computers and tablets are all preloaded with learning software that requires no internet connection. The tablets will be available for checkout and will support reading, math, and science learning. We are so proud of our staff and are excited to provide our residents with the best library experience!
