This morning, the city celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony with Habitat for Humanity a very special #BoyntonBeach resident—a disabled, legally blind Korean War veteran whose home was severely damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017. 🌪️ With years of dedicated collaboration between the city and various organizations, today marks the beginning of a renovation project to restore and make his home livable again. Together, we are building a brighter future and honoring our heroes. 🛠️💙 #CommunityStrong #VeteranSupport #RebuildingLives

Home is where the field is… 💙 Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Ezell Hester Jr. Athletic Field Grand Opening this morning. This park improvement project is a multi-million dollar renovation project that was partially funded through a $250,000 grant from the National Football League (NFL) Foundation and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Grassroots Field Grant Program. Special thank you to the Miami Dolphins, NFL Foundation, LISC, Youth Enrichment Association, Boynton Beach PAL, our city commissioners and city staff who managed this project.

The #BoyntonBeach Utilities Department will temporarily modify the water treatment disinfection process to free chlorination from Wed., July 3 through Wed., July 24, 2024. Customers may notice a slight chlorine taste or odor in their tap water. Those sensitive to the taste or odor of chlorine can place an open container of drinking water in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the chlorine to dissipate. Users of home dialysis machines, owners of tropical fish and managers of stores, and restaurants with fish and shellfish holding tanks are advised to seek professional advice on how to operate their equipment. This is a preventative maintenance procedure in order to maintain the city’s high standard of clean water distribution. Questions? Call the Water Quality Division at 561-742-6964.
