Here are three examples of our cost-savings tools. ⬇️ Autoscale: Our most adopted Citrix feature, it’s helped save customers up to 70% in some cases. Autoscale offers schedule-based or load-based scaling with a variety of settings that can help your business use computational resources more efficiently. We’ve been working on Autoscale Insights (currently in Tech Preview) which makes it easy to analyze the effectiveness of your settings to identify financial waste resulting from over-provisioning, determine whether the user experience is negatively impacted from under-provisioning, and more. Citrix Provisioning (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS): PVS and MCS help you deploy the right number of virtual desktops and applications. We’re working on integrating cost modeling into the Citrix provisioning console for both MCS and PVS, which will forecast the monthly cost of your Citrix-provisioned virtual machines using information on the instance sizes, daily power on times, and workdays. Cost optimization & savings reporting with DaaS Monitor: In Tech Preview, this cost optimization dashboard provides a clear view of where you can cut costs across your delivery groups and machine catalogs, regardless of your current or future cloud providers.
